Privacy Policy
Last updated April 30, 2026
This page explains what information may be involved when you use LumibabyAI and how that information may move through AI generation, subscriptions, analytics, notifications, and support workflows.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how LumibabyAI handles information when you use our website, mobile app, customer support channels, and related services. It is designed to help you understand what data may be involved when you explore AI baby visuals, weekly memories, name ideas, playful predictions, subscriptions, and notifications.
Information you choose to provide
Profile and pregnancy details
When you set up the app or personalize your experience, you may provide names, due date information, pregnancy week details, language preferences, reminders, and other information you voluntarily enter.
Images, prompts, and saved moments
If you upload ultrasound scans, parent photos, album moments, or prompts, that content may be used to create AI-generated visuals, previews, names, or related outputs for you inside the app.
Support communications
If you contact us directly, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message so we can respond and troubleshoot.
Information collected automatically
Device and usage signals
We may receive device model, operating system version, language, approximate technical identifiers, feature usage events, diagnostics, crash information, and performance data so the service can operate reliably and improve over time.
Purchase, notification, and ad-related signals
Depending on how you use LumibabyAI, we may process subscription status, paywall interactions, rewarded access events, push notification tokens or identifiers, and advertising or attribution-related signals.
Tracking permission context
If you grant tracking permission on iOS, certain partners may process identifiers or related signals to measure advertising performance and attribution. If you decline, tracking-limited behavior may apply instead.
How we use information
We use information to deliver core functionality, including generating AI experiences, saving pregnancy progress, personalizing reminders, managing premium access, measuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, protecting the service, understanding product usage, and communicating with you when necessary.
Third-party services and processors
LumibabyAI may rely on third-party providers to run specific parts of the product. The provider involved can vary based on the feature you use.
AI and content processing
Ultrasound visuals, prompts, and other content used for AI features may be processed through providers such as FAL.ai and OpenAI so results can be generated and returned to you.
Analytics and attribution
We may use services such as Firebase and AppsFlyer to understand performance, stability, product usage, and marketing attribution.
Subscriptions and payments
We use Adapty to manage subscription flows and entitlements. Apple handles payment processing for App Store purchases under Apple’s own policies and billing terms.
Notifications and advertising
Push messaging and engagement tooling may involve OneSignal or equivalent notification services. Ad-supported or rewarded access flows may involve Google AdMob or related advertising technologies.
Face data
Some features let you select photos that may contain faces. We treat these images as sensitive face data and handle them as described below.
What we collect and how
The optional "Future Baby" feature lets you voluntarily select two photos (for example, of parents) from your photo library. These images may contain faces. We do not scan, recognize, or build any biometric template or faceprint from them, and we do not use them to identify any individual.
How it is used
The selected photos are used only to generate a single illustrative AI image that you request. They are not used for advertising, profiling, identification, model training, or any purpose other than producing the result you asked for.
Sharing and storage
To generate the result, the selected photos are transmitted securely (over HTTPS) to our AI processing partner FAL.ai. Image-analysis features may also use OpenAI. We require these providers to apply protections at least equivalent to those described in this policy and to process the images only to return your result. The images are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers afterward, and they are not shared with any other third party.
Retention
Face data is not retained after the AI result is generated. Any image you choose to save remains only on your own device, under your control.
Permissions the app may request
Depending on the feature, LumibabyAI may request access to your photo library, permission to save generated images back to your library, notification permission for reminders and updates, motion access for interactive 3D viewing, and tracking permission for advertising attribution where available.
Retention and security
We aim to keep data only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, and product integrity. Retention periods can differ depending on whether data is stored locally on-device, temporarily processed, or handled by a service provider. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, but no system can promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can manage many privacy choices through iOS settings, such as photo access, notifications, and tracking permission. Subscription management and cancellations are handled through your Apple account. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or additional details about your data by contacting us.
Children, medical boundaries, and international use
Children’s privacy
LumibabyAI is intended for adults and expecting parents, not for children. We do not knowingly design the service for children to use on their own.
Medical boundary
AI-generated visuals, names, and predictions are creative or entertainment-oriented outputs. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care.
International transfers
Because our providers may operate in multiple countries, information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and provider safeguards.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with an updated date. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@selcoramobile.com.
