When you use LumibabyAI, we may collect information you provide directly, including: your name, email address, due date, and baby-related information you enter in the app; photos you upload (ultrasound images, profile photos); and preferences and settings you configure.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use our app, including: device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers); app usage data (features used, time spent, interactions); analytics data through Firebase, Mixpanel, and AppsFlyer; and crash reports and performance data.

Core App Functionality

We use your information to provide LumibabyAI's core features, including processing ultrasound images through our AI systems (FAL.ai and OpenAI) to generate transformed photos and predictions, personalizing your experience based on your pregnancy week and preferences, and saving your pregnancy album and favorites.

Analytics & Improvement

We use analytics data to understand how users interact with our app, improve existing features and develop new ones, fix bugs and optimize performance, and measure the effectiveness of our app.

Communications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about pregnancy milestones, reminders to upload weekly ultrasound photos, and app updates and new features.

AI Processing Services

LumibabyAI uses FAL.ai to process ultrasound images and generate AI photos and 3D renders. We also use OpenAI's GPT-4o for gender prediction analysis and baby name suggestions. Images and data you submit are processed by these services in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Analytics Providers

We use Firebase (Google), Mixpanel, and AppsFlyer for analytics. These services help us understand app usage patterns. Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies.

Subscription Management

We use Adapty to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. Payment information is handled directly by Apple and is not stored by us.

Storage

Your data is primarily stored on your device. When you use AI features, images are temporarily transmitted to our secure backend and third-party AI services for processing. We do not permanently store your ultrasound images on our servers beyond what is necessary for processing.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure API authentication, and rate limiting to protect against unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

LumibabyAI is designed for use by adults who are pregnant or expecting parents. Our app is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Access & Control

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, opt out of analytics tracking, and withdraw consent for push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us at support@lumibabyai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

LumibabyAI operates globally and your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

All AI-generated predictions, including gender prediction, are provided for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. LumibabyAI is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions related to your pregnancy.
